Castle Acre Primary School

Adventures to Pensthorpe, West Stow and more

School trips are a wonderful part of school life, and we LOVE taking the children on school outings

Rowan Class had an amazing time at Pensthorpe; they came back absolutely buzzing about what they had seen and learnt. Some of our children were even brave enough to let the birds take food out of their hands.

Whitebeam Class enjoyed their visitor afternoon, with Janet Marshall, who led a workshop on Ancient Greece. The children tried lots of different foods (the dates were not so much a hit), they made their own flatbreads and even did some dancing (an actual visit to Greece was a little bit outside our School trip budget!)

Oak Class had a brilliant time at West Stow Country Park & Anglo Saxon Village to immerse themselves in the wonderful  Anglo 'living history' .
